GOODBYYYYYYE

So this is Isabelle, and this is the last time I will be posting for Blogger since this blog was only for an English project. I look back at all these posts and wonder if anyone besides Karina and I looked and read them, and if anyone enjoyed them or thought they were mildly funny. Well, anyway....editing, like I've said probably a million times on this site, was super awesome cool (insert any other positive, enthusiastic word here). I learned a lot, for example, how to be patient; in the past I haven't really had much tolerance for computers. Okay then, what else should I talk about that people care about?
Oh! Karina and I are starting a YouTube channel soon and we would love some subscribers...wow I sound desperate....if anyone looks at this blog I will be posting the launch date of the channel and our channel name.

Is This the End?! (Ya it is)

Hey guys and gals! Now I know, I know, all of ya'll are like, "Oh mai gawd she can't possibly post two posts in one day," but I have to! This is due tomorrow and like, blogger broke down yesterday or whatever and yesterdays post didn't post. Sorry! But here's some bad news: This is my last post.


I know, I understand: you guys are super sad and stuff. But (because of like required stuffs for the project), here's what I got out of this project.

I learned that you are not always going to be super good and professional at something. I came into this project going, "OH YEAH!  I'M GONNA DO DIS!" But I realized that I'm not that good at playing piano. I had a hard time recognizing what key's he was playing and how to transition from each part and I definitely could NOT sing at the same time. I give credit to piano players. That is some serious talent. But of course, it can be acquired. I feel that if I had more time to practice (not complaining that we had no time; we had plenty), I would learn the song through and through. But doing something you've never done before that requires a certain skill takes time and practice. Don't be discouraged if something isn't getting done on the first time. Patience is a virtue.

SO. After all that mushy gushy stuff-wait...


I-I.. just realized this will be my last post on this blog. Forever.
I'm kidding. I'm totally fine. But, to all those who actually glanced at our blog, thank you.
Thanks for suffering through this project with us. We love you (I guess) and yeah...

OH NOES

So apparently my blog didn't post yesterday (ugly sobbing). But here is what I was SUPPOSED to post:

Sigh. Alright. So practice is not making anything perfect for me. I think I'll just give up on the piano thing but I have learned the cover using this instrumental and these lyrics. It has been fun, experimenting with my voice and the music and I have a recorded final product, but like Isabelle said, we don't need one for this final project (WOO I mean, oh sad). Well, I guess this is it for now. BYE BYEBYEYBEYBEYEBYEBEYBEYYBE.

Isabelle here. So, winding down  to the last blog post, I guess it's customary to record my experience. I would have to say that all the frustrating hours of editing and learning different tools and such have paid off; I have learned a vast amount about technology and the workings of a computer, not just how to edit a video. I really appreciate having this experience and hope to be able to use my newly found skill in the near future. I know this is short, but it's late and I need my energy for finals tomorrow.

 WELL OH MY GOD
So I was up late finishing my homework and I remembered that I had a blog post due. So I open up my Mac book and prepare to post a video I had edited from Karina's piano practice. But when I tried to upload the file, it wouldn't download; the file was corrupted, heads were spinning, children were crying...all that good stuff. So sadly, there is and will probably be no video for the remainder of this blog (all 5 posts of it). But I have learned some interesting things along the way, for example, how to edit videos to make them look high quality while using cheap software. I learned different tricks and methods of using certain tools for a purpose other than the one it was originally designed for. I really enjoyed the experience and will take these skills with me to my next video adventure, which will be a YouTube channel I'm hoping to launch at the beginning of summer vacation.

P.S. I found out that there will not be a final project due (contrary to Karina's post) so no professional video will be uploaded.
